There are plenty of people who know about wine, but not many who can talk about it to anyone outside of the industry

Five Things To Know About Me:

1) I love wine…a lot.

2) I have worked with, studied, talked about, and most importantly drunk wine for many years.

3) I am a New Yorker (who has called London home for the past 8 1/2 years).

4) I was a professional actress until I decided that since I liked wine just as much as I liked acting, I should perhaps combine the two and become a wine presenter.

5) I am left handed and an excellent whistler (just wanted to make sure you’re still reading!)

    Met the eccentric South African winemaker at the SITT tastings and loved his wines, both red and white.Some fab Sicilian winesMay 2010: At the London International Wine Fair. Romanian reds in pretty packaging. Not bad.
    A good Muscadet for under a tenner. Score.France Under One Roof trade tasting: A small selection of Les Caves De Pyrenes unique, natural wines, most from tiny producers.Santiagos red
    May 2010: A tasting of Croatian wines. I was very impressed particularly with some of their dessert wines like this ice wine. (see blog post for more info)Like a walk through a thicket of wild berries, this was a spendid rustic wine, again from Northeast Italy.IMG_0882.JPG
