Intro

Christina hails from the Fingerlakes wine region of upstate New York (the 3^rd biggest wine producing region in the US!), although she has called London home for many years.

Whilst working as a professional actress and singer, she stumbled upon a job at the London Bridge wine attraction, Vinopolis.  There, while working with hundreds of wines and giving hundreds of talks and tours, her love of wine was nurtured beyond knocking back a glass or two in the pub.  She gained certifications in both the intermediate and advanced level Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) (merit and distinction) and through combining her acting skills and wine knowledge, went on to become a regular presenter for over two years on the BBC Good Food Channel’s flagship show Market Kitchen.  There she presented alongside chefs like Matt Tebbutt, Richard Corrigan, James Martin, and Simon Rimmer.

Today she has her fingers in many wine-related pies (as well as being a professional voiceover artist!), getting whisked away to places like Portugal to present in videos for the Port Institute, or judging wine competitions in Italy, co-hosting the popular online radio show The Crush, and as producer and presenter for her own promotional videos company for the food, drink, and tourism industry.  She can be seen as the presenter for Wine Republic TV’s Wine Guide, and food and wine pairing with chef Valentine Warner in Discover the Origin’s online video.  Additionally, Christina can often be found at food and drink festivals around the country hosting live tastings, acting as brand ambassador and spokeswoman, and also running corporate wine events and tastings in wine bars across London.

On the writing side of things, Christina is a contributor to publications including Decanter, Harpers Wine & Spirits and Imbibe.

She is also managing the website and the social media for the much anticipated Real Wine Fair in May.
